Our earrings

Earrings are the jewellery you forget the fastest and take off the least. Studs go in each morning and cross the day without a thought, under headphones or against a pillow. Hoops call for a decision on diameter: discreet at around fifteen millimetres, they follow the line of the lobe, while wider ones become the only jewellery you need. Between the two, much depends on hair length, a mid-sized hoop disappearing entirely under loose hair. Drop earrings catch the eye through movement rather than size. Posts and fittings are sterling silver or stainless steel, two materials that sensitive ears tolerate without difficulty. Weight counts as much as material, since past a few grams the lobe begins to pull by evening.
